Tell Me More About Holland

Holland is a waterfront community in southwestern lower Michigan.   Known world wide for it’s annual Tulip Time Festival in early May, the town has blocks of amazing boutique shops, restaurants, bars and art galleries.

Lake Macatawa is a long, somewhat narrow lake which feeds into Lake Michigan.  Where Lake Macatawa enters Lake Michigan there is a  channel with two pier heads, the Big Red Lighthouse anchors the south pier head. On the north side of the channel and encompassing the shores of Lake Michigan is the Holland State Park. There you can picnic at one of the many picnic tables lining the channel or spend a glorious day at one of the nicest beaches in the United States.

In the event of a rainy day, Holland also offers some great indoor activities for young children such as the Holland Aquatic Center, an indoor inflatable kids park at Crazy Bounce or a 15,000 square foot activity center at Deanna’s Playhouse!

Holland is one of the most happiest places in the United States, ranking 2nd according to a recent Gallup Poll, over even such tropical paradises as Honolulu!  Never before has there been so much to do and see, come visit Holland, Michigan today!
